The Dorado Club Resort will give your holidays all the colour you need. The blue of the sea on the wonderful beaches of Puerto Plata, the gold of the hot Caribbean sun and an endless stream of colours offered by the hotel, decorated in pure Dominican style. Situated in the Playa Dorada Complex, there are large areas of trees and plants, an immense golf course and the charismatic town of Puerto Plata nearby. Its 165 spacious rooms are distributed among 9 small buildings, surrounded by a landscape that you can enjoy while doing any of the numerous sports and leisure activities offered all day long. At meal times you can choose between the fantastic view of the complex from our buffet restaurant “Marien”, eating at the “Beach Club” or enjoying a wonderful evening at the “Magua”, our original “à la carte” restaurant. The “Higüey”, our poolside bar, is available for refreshments during the day, and at night the hotel entertainment takes to the stage.

All 165 comfortable rooms are distributed among 9 small buildings, all surrounded by a landscape that you will enjoy. All rooms are equipped with telephone, TV, satellite TV, safety deposit box payable locally, air-conditioning, complete bathroom.

2 freshwater swimming pools 1 for adults and 1 for children. Showers Sun shades deck chairs and towels are free in the pool area, 24 hours reception, exchange, car rental, telephone/ fax facilities, excursions, Spanish lessons, marengue lessons, shopping centre, supermarket/ souvenir shop, boutique, hairdresser, massage, laundry, children’s playground, wedding packages and mini disco.

There is a full board consisting of a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served in the rich buffet style at the Main Restaurant. There is an Restaurant a la carte Magua ( grill + pizzeria ). 1 dinner per week of stay. Delicious Snacks are served at the Snack Bar. 24 hours all inclusive with national drinks and food in buffet or snacks. (Pool Bar, Main Bar) such as locally produced alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea, coffee and mineral water.

The Hotetur Dorado Club offers a large variety of sport facilities such as 2 tennis courts in Villas Dorada 200 mts, windsurfing, volleyball, water polo, bikes, scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaks, swimming pool, children’s swimming pool and motorized sports like jet ski, parasailing and water ski. Please Note: Not all facilities are complimentary. Free crèche facilities and different sports are available (except motorized water sports). Free use of beach and pool towels. Different entertainment programmes are available during the day and evenings. 30 minutes horse back riding included. Nearby 18 hole golf course payable.

The Playa Dorada beach is 150 m and the Playa Dorada commercial centre is 200 m. Journey time by car: 20 minutes from Puerta Plata airport.
