Tongsai Bay Cottages & Hotel is the only resort in Ko Samui with a private
beach. Our private beach is by no means small either. It's 200 meters long. It
never gets crowded even when all rooms are fully occupied. The
sea is for everyone but at Tongsai Bay the whole bay is yours . Sun bathing in
peace. No beach vendors, no dogs, no passersby. Free-form
salt-water swimming pool and the beach is right next to Floyd's Beach Bistro and
the Beachfront Suites.
Even
though, the air at The Tongsai Bay tends to make one feels lazy and not very
energetic, Tongsai has a tennis court, an exercise room and a snooker room to
suit the most hyper-active type and the health-conscious ones. The tennis court,
exercise room and snooker room are free of charge for resident guests
Facilities
include catamaran, canoes, windsurf, sailing and snorkeling gear. We resent
motor-water sports. We feel that motor-water sports are dangerous and
inconsiderate. Thus there is no jet-ski, scooter or water-ski service at Tongsai
bay.
The
snooker room is located diagonally opposite the lobby area. It is
air-conditioned. There is only one standard size table.
The
exercise room is located in front of room 302 and 303. Facilities include:
computerized running machine, rowing machine, weight lifting equipment and
multi-purpose general exercising machine.
The
tennis court at Tongsai Bay is placed on top of the hill close to the entrance
of the resort. From here you could get a panoramic view of The Tongsai Bay and
Cheongmon Bay. This could prove to be quite a distraction if you are playing to
win. Resident guests could borrow rackets, balls and book the court at the
reception desk.
The
tennis court is open from 9:00 - 21:00 hrs.
Other
sports and activities such as scuba diving, trekking, elephant trekking,
shooting and snorkeling, could be arranged through various reliable travel
agents outside the hotel. Please contact the reception desk for information or
reservation.

Beach front Suites in a 3-storeyed
chalet-type building next to the swimming pool and the beach. Each suite (72sqm)
has air-conditioned bedroom (36sqm) & open-air terrace (36sqm) with a
secluded bathtub.

Cottage Suites there are 39 with a
secluded bathtub on the open-air terrace and 5 with with a bathtub in a private
garden. Each cottage has air-conditioned bedroom & open-air terrace of 60,
68 or 78 sqm depending on their location.

Tongsai Grand Villas are on the
hillside facing a spectacular sea view of Tongsai bay. Each has an area of 135
sq. metres, divided into the open-air terrace and living area space of 81 sq.
metres and the air-conditioned bedroom area of 54 sq. metres. The unique
open-air terrace features a bar, a bathtub for bathing alfresco and a gazebo
where guests could sleep outside if they wish (the hotel will provide a mosquito
net).
