Located directly on the beachfront, with its seafront promenade, in Isla Canela (Costa de la Luz). This natural island is communicated via a bridge with the Andalusian village of Ayamonte, 6 kms. away, on the Portuguese frontier, but still part of Spain. Here you will find beaches stretching for 7 kms. with navigable canals and unique natural scenery, favoured by the area's microclimate.

The hotel is situated next to the shopping centre and  the marina.1 km. from the village of Punta del Moral, near the estuary  and the Golf Club Isla Canela. It is  58 kms. from Faro airport (Algarve). There is a bus stop for the village of Ayamonte just 500 m. from the hotel, which lies in grounds of over 20,000 m. It has extensive gardens and a singular architectural style, with a Moorish air to it and details from the culture of the Andalusian Moors.

Accommodation

A newly-built complex, opened in the year 2002, offering a reception with currency exchange, bicycle and car rental. Swimming pools for adults and children, sun loungers and parasols free of charge, indoor pool. Boutique, beauty farm, souvenir shop and medical service.

Apartments (“A1” 2 – 3 pax / “A2” 4 – 5 pax) with complete bathroom with hairdryer. Telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, safety deposit box and spacious terraces. Some have a spacious lounge and independent bedroom and complete bathroom. The rest are studios with a double room and complete bathroom.

Facilities

Half board service (breakfast and evening meal) with a generous, varied buffet. Main restaurant with show cooking, specialities' restaurant, cafeteria, all with air conditioning, and snack bar by the pool as well as beach bar.

Free of charge in the complex: Fitness-room, aerobics, table tennis. Extra charge for: tennis, billiards. Nearby is the "Isla Canela" golf course, an 18-hole course in the urbanisation itself and the "Islantilla" course is 30 kms. away. Marina with 231 berths (first phase) 1 km. away with shopping centre and watersports (sailing, motorised watersports, water skiing, fishing, diving etc.) In the surrounding area and within the Isla Canela urbanisation there are English bowling greens, two football pitches and other sporting installations.

Children's pool, miniclub, games room and babysitter service at night, on request and for an extra charge.
