The Recipe For A Wonderful Hotel

Our aim has always been to blend the fine details of this Regency building, and its famous spiral staircase, with the best traditions of comfort, hospitality and superb food that only an intimate, privately run hotel can provide.
And in order to take your stay from the fantastic to the sublime, we have recently undergone a huge refurbishment programme to place us in the premier league, and have included all the sophisticated details that the discerning traveller demands.
Now you will find everything you need to make life as comfortable as possible. Take a peek at our bedrooms, which now offer the latest in comfort, design and state-of-the-art technology. Our newly created Garden Cottages provide peace and quiet. Pick Hidcote, with its private garden and hot tub, or The Longborough Suite, with its own sitting room and luxurious family accommodation. Whichever one of our individually designed bedrooms you prefer, you can create your own bespoke room, from your choice of pillow to the contents of your mini bar.
During your stay with us, choose between two restaurants, the gracious Garden Restaurant or Hicks' Brasserie, to suit your mood, both offering menus using the finest local ingredients created by our acclaimed chef, Simon Hulstone. And whilst you enjoy your dinner, gaze out over the extensive gardens, redesigned under the expert eye of gardener and author Paul Williams.
Set in the heart of Chipping Campden in the breathtaking Cotswolds, Cotswold House is the perfect base for a touring holiday, conference, wedding or a well-deserved break. We'll make sure that you are cared for, whether you want breakfast on the terrace, a tailor-made sightseeing itinerary with picnic lunch, a pre-theatre supper, or you just prefer linen sheets to a duvet.

Accommodation

Part of our philosophy at Cotswold House is that a hotel room should be even better than your own at home.

Since our massive redesign programme, there's a good chance you'll want to stay here forever.
From the cashmere underblankets to the lighting, we think we've thought of everything. Lie between Frette linen sheets on your enormous king-sized bed and read the latest novel from your bookshelf, or watch a DVD on the latest Bang & Olufsen TV you can rotate to the perfect viewing angle from your remote control. Select your own bespoke minibar so you can enjoy your favourite tipple. Take a long soak in a bath filled with your favourite aromatherapy oils and watch your bathroom TV. Keep in touch with the office via the ISDN line in every room.
At the cocktail hour we will deliver ice for your drinks and canapés, whilst you prepare for dinner, and replete, you can rest your weary head on your favourite type of pillow and drift away in peace and quiet with a waft of sleep spray to ensure the perfect night's sleep. In the morning, there's fresh coffee from your percolator, fresh juices from your minibar and it's back to bed with the morning paper delivered to your door - a very civilised way to prepare for a hearty, traditional breakfast and a day's sightseeing in the Cotswolds.
