The Palm Beach Hotel has a total of 450 rooms
and is in a superb location in the beautiful resort of St George
South, 32 km south of Corfu Town centre. The hotel is situated right
on the golden sandy beach, just 20m from the sea.
Location
The resort of St George is an ideal choice for
all ages, especially those who enjoy a relaxing beach holiday. The
very long, golden, sandy beach boasts to be the best on the island and
most water sports are available. The resort, which is a very short
walk from the beach contains many excellent bars, tavernas,
restaurants and shops, running along the peaceful seafront.
Surrounding scenic countryside views are to be enjoyed by all.
Accommodation
Accommodation is divided up into 6 buildings, 2
of them with 2 storeys and the remainder with 1 storey, each of these
buildings have a lift. Sea view, side sea view and garden view rooms
are available, balcony, some with kingsize beds, some with 2 single
beds and some with a matrimonial bed. All rooms have a third bed, 14
rooms are family rooms and take 4 beds. All rooms have a shower, bath
tub, wc and hairdryer in the bathrooms. All rooms are fully
air-conditioned (at no extra charge) and have satellite TV and
refrigerator. No room service available.
Hotel Facilities
The hotel offers: a large outdoor fresh water
swimming pool, poolside snackbar, amphitheatre (on the beach, where
there is live entertainment and band regularly), full animation team
performing weekly and a tended garden area (200,000 square metres).
Food and Beverages
The hotel offers a main restaurant which is
located in a separate building which is fully air-conditioned and
operates on a half board basis, (breakfast and dinner). Both meals are
buffet (unlimited). Breakfast is american and continental - Dinner has
a wide range of choice of international dishes suiting all tastes.
Other Facilities
The vast air-conditioned reception is located in
a separate building and is also used by the Corfu Plaza Hotel which is
next door. There is a conference room in a seperate building which
accommodates 400 pax and has all facilities.
