The Barceló Tambor Beach is situated on Bahía Ballena, in the Puntarenas

The rainy season extends from May through November, while the dry season runs from December to April. The average annual temperature on the coast and beach resorts fluctuates between 21 and 32ºC (70 and 90ºF). Transfer time from the local airport at Tambor is around 20 minutes with daily conections from San Jose International Airport.
